Description

J.J. Ray wrote a book titled, God Wrote Only One Bible, in which he designed a number-matching system to show which modern versions removed words, phrases, and verses. He also included a short section on some important facts concerning the K.J.V. As a Christian businessman convinced that God only had ONE Bible, he laid out his book in a very unique, yet simple, manner, hitting the very heart of the problem, and doing great damage to the "Madison Avenue"-promoted image of the "perversions." All in all, the 7-chapter, 122-page booklet has stirred up considerable interest concerning the issue of which version "is" the word of God.

This book, Could the NIV be the True Word of God?, uses Ray's method of analysis to see how the NIV attacks Jesus Christ, God, salvation, the atonement, the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven, hell, heaven, and a host of other doctrinal subjects, removing such words as sodomite, whore, and harlot. New words have been invented such as "lampstand," and the "mercy seat" has been reduced to a "covering."

Also included are:

-Brief review of the Comtemporary English Version of 1991

-Brief review of the New Century Version of 1993

-Corrections and supplements to J.J. Ray's God Wrote Only One Bible
