Description
Grades 6 - 8
In Principles of Mathematics, Book 2, students will continue discovering that all of math boils down to a way of describing God's world and is a useful means we can use to serve and worship Him. The focus of the course is actually learning math for life, not simply preparing to pass a test. Students don't just learn how to manipulate numbers on paper, but starting with arithmetic and laying the groundwork for geometry and algebra, Book 2 both firms up the foundational concepts and prepares students for upper-level math in a logical, step-by-step way that helps students understand concepts, build problem-solving skills, and see how different aspects of math connect.
It is strongly recommended that students complete the Principles of Mathematics, Book 1 course before beginning Book 2 as math builds on itself.
