This study deals with nearly every aspect of church polity and life including the meaning of the church, the proper constitution of the church, the importance of the church, biblical descriptions of a New Testament church (expository studies of Acts 2:36-42; 13:1-4; Romans 15:14; 1 Corinthians 5:6-8; Colossians 1:25-28; 1 Thessalonians 1:8-10; 1 Timothy 3:15; Revelation 1:10-20), the Church as a body (expository study of Ephesians 4:7-16), church membership, the pastor, church members’ relationship to pastors, other ministry-gifted men, the deacon, ordination, church ordinances, church discipline, the church as headquarters for Christ’s Great Commission, and church covenants.
