Description
Gambling is sometimes called the "clean" sin. Supposedly inconsequential things like lottery tickets and Bingo cards are simple "diversions"—physically harmless fun. But behind the concept of gambling are a world of corruption and the blight of moral degradation—the refuse of dishonest gain, dethroning of God, loss of character, neglect of responsibility, a misuse of honest earnings, as well as an abuse of family and friends. The gambling environs are full of other debris, such as drunkenness, blasphemy and dishonesty (lying and cheating)—the litter of amusement without proper values. W. B. Riley aggressively addresses the fact that gambling is a corrupting, ungodly influence and is trash that belongs on the rubbish heap.
